3 weeks left on warranty. What to double-check?
to Nick in Ohio. First, great move on cancelling your "oil change"; I got hosed my first time too because I was too dumb to find out just what they were going to do and charge. 2nd, as I was told by an ASE garage, if something is wrong get it in writing (or better yet a print out) and your dealer/Porsche is then 'obligated' to at least address the issue.

Thanks for the input! Let's hope I don't need to get anything in writing!
As for the $360 'annual service', I had to sleep on it for a couple of nights. At first I thought 'Well, this isn't a Ford...and they said they would help identify any warranty issues.' But then I realized that I could change my own oil for ~$70, and then take it to a completely unbiased 3rd party for a PPI. So, I hope to have better results...for half the price
Thanks again.Nick
