Looks nice.. And mods in mind?

BTW: Funny, I felt the exact same way about the economy when I first drove mine home. I had a good year in business and rewarded myself. I was afraid to show anyone in the family or at the office.. I did not think I deserved it. You will get over it.. Just ride around some more. You deserve it. Enjoy.
That's exactly what i felt too especially with my sis. outta wk..

Very nice ride, i was just in naples and I think i saw that car. congrats.

Rodney,
I just bought my first 997 this past weekend. Even though I got a great deal on a used 2005 C2, I really feel bad when I am going to sleep! Lots of people at my company have been axed recently, so I don't want to drive it to the office. I'm glad that #1 - It is snowing in Ohio...and #2 - I am traveling this week!

I just turned 32, and I cleared my 21 month 'Cancer-Free' hurdle last week...so I am celebrating a little early! My 2 year diagnosis date is in 3 weeks, and my next set of clean CT scans will mark a really big deal in a survivor's life. I bought my first Rolex last year to mark the 1 year celebration, so I cannot imagine what next year will bring! After going through such a traumatic experience, I decided not to wait until I am 50 to buy the car I have always wanted! On my drive home from the dealer (9 hours!), I kept thinking about how I used to have 911 posters on my wall as a kid I totally feel like the little kid at the dealership in the 997 promo commercial! I know money can't buy eternal happiness, but this is an amazing feeling! I have perma-smile for multiple reasons!

Nick,

Congratulations with your success in the fight; good luck with your scans and future.

I took the car over to show my 81-year old dad this morning; I had warned him that I was thinking about a sports car but didn't tell him that I pulled the trigger. He doesn't really get it but is happy for me and gave me the "you only live once you need to enjoy it" comment. I ride motorcycles too so I think he is just happy that it has four wheels.

I drove the car to work today; no one has noticed it or at least they haven't said anything. I guess the one thing I have going for me is that I in a fairly affluent area and Porsches are run of the mill relative to some. I saw a Maybach on the drive in; now that is an obnoxious car.....

I Remember being down in ur area a year or so ago. I saw 4 Phantoms within an hour, so I am sure a plain jane 911 is like not a biggie. But for me it's what i want so it all that matters.

enjoy in good health.

My area is quite the opposite. I am lucky to see two 911's in a year! Also, the Guards Red won't help my situation! Regardless, I bought it...so I am going to enjoy it!

I was real hot on a left over 08 in Guards but White IS my color and it's a little cooler in the summer.

We had a car show in Naples about two weeks ago, had to have been at least 100 Ferraris, lots of Lambo's even a Carrera GT or two. Here is a link to a blog with some pics if anyone is interested. http://www.exoticsandluxury.com/napl...how-5th-avenue

Beatiful Car in a beautiful City. Absolutely love Naples. My 2nd home since I was 17. Drop her right in front of Campiellos and have a drink and watch the onlookers stop and stare. Priceless. Best of Luck.
