Porsches do not do burnouts. They are to be enjoyed for their dynamics on an appropriate road course.

Really not the best thing to do.. although the PDK does it very well... Much better to go easy on the clutch in 1st gear and enjoy it in the twisties or on the track instead

Drive Porsche to local Ford Dealer, buy Ford Mustang (V8 Kind works best). Start Car, Rev Engine up to just under redline, pop the clutch.

Or have a 67 camaro with a Rehr Morrison big block and mash the gas in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd and blow the tires off

Couple factors involved when I did that burnout.

Tire temp.
Pavement temp.
Pavement type.

Sometimes you get wheel hop, and sometimes you don't.

Common Mike admit it, you guys did that video so we would go out and try it, burn our clutches out and then buy the stage 2 kit from you

better off not doing it, ur most likely gonna get wheelhop which will feel like your car is gonna break in half.. maybe try in gravel or if its really cold outside it might work, or maybe in snow..lol

I had the same problem with the wheel hop. It is because of the way the suspension is setup in the rear. There is nothing wrong with a little burnout every once in a while.when the tires wear a little and the road is cool take off the traction control and let it rip .

also , the 11 inch wide rear wheels dont want to loose traction especially with a motor pushing down on them

I thought in the Porsche world it was called failure to gain adequate traction?
