Flappy rear Bumper after Fabspeed exhaust....

For you guys with the Fabspeed mufflers, what did you do about your rear bumper supports? I didn't think going without them was an issue but someone following behind me on a drive later asked me if I've had body work because my rear bumper flapping around in the wind...

If you are talking about the ones right behind the rear wheel well arch....

When I had my Fabspeeds I just had to have a shop bend those brackets a bit, which was a simply thing to do, and they're still on.

We tried bending them that day, ended up snapping one, I guess I could try a shop, i'm sure they could fabricate them.

Yes you MUST use the tube brackets to support the rear lower fender. All they need is a very little bend. Be sure they are not touching the muffler or you will feel more vibrations through the car.

Chris go buy a new brack at the dealer and stop by Vortex Motorsports on Hillsboro behind the airport and they will put them on for you. I will be glad to help you too but I am down in Apollo Beach.

Yes, they are tough to bend. I used a hammer to bend mine gently around my Remus mufflers.
