Ummm... yeah you can get that sound if you pony up and by a Carrera GT!
- Please be realistic on your expectations. As far as the flat six sound goes, I think the AH pipes are the wickedest sounding pipes out. Majorly wood-inspiring..
Nice work Cattman and friends!! You're probably not using the best video camera for that little showdown that's for sure! I know your guy's cars sound way better!!! I know for sure the AH sounded much better live!!! pOrsch3 gave me a live demo and it really sounded awesome!! thanks for posting tho
I think what I like best in the vid is the cars really all look fantastic- I like the closing at the end with the side by side park. nicely done.
What's even funnier is I almost owned ATL's pcar before he bought it... Bet he's glad that I didn't follow through.. LOL

Nice work Cattman, thanks for taking the time to edit those. There was definitely a lot of sound lost in the video. I can tell you that Brando's AH pipes with the 200 cell cats and headers SCREAMS.
We did a side by side comparison and mine were quiet compared to the AH pipes and the AH pipes + 200 cell cats = game over. Anyone in the ATL area have bypass pipes on the 997? If so we need to do a round 2.
Next time I'll shoot it with my digital camera instead of a camcorder, I think it provides better sound and picture quality. Sounds like a good excuse to get together again!

Ha! I'll take two!
I was at a seminar in Michigan a few years ago, and someone parked their CGT in front of the hotel all day. It was raining soooooo hard....and all the windows were down
I was using a poorman's Sony HandyCam. If anyone with higher-end equipment lives near Atlanta, I am certain that the 3 of us would be more than happy to reconvene.
If they sound on the video, as Bara says, like a "honda + fartpipe" then there's certainly a lot lost between reality, my camera, and youtube. In person, they each sound phenomenal. There is a wail to the Fabspseed, a throaty gurgle to the AH, and a menacing ferocity to the AH+AWE cats.

Hey Cattman. Since the camera didn't do the AH justice, how would you compare the AH sound to the speedART 997.2 system GMP just posted? I hope they sound similar, because my AH pipes are being delivered tomorrow!

Nick
The SpeedArt system for the 997.2 sounds very similar to the AH pipes on a 997.1.
We will reconvene and shoot again with a better mic so you can really hear the sounds of shock and awe.
