You can get an oem 997.2 taillight from suncoast. Here is the link.

I think they can even hook you up with 997.2 rear bumper

Thanks, but I don't want to change bumper and convert to 997.2 look. Led rear lights with the 997.1 shape is what I have in mind.

I would be very interested as well.

Checked ebay and there is nothing for the 997... although sets exist for the 955 cayenne as well as the 986/996.

Here is the thread for the 996. Looks very nice IMO:

I would defnitely be down for some but they would need to have the led style be just like the 997.2, I don't like how it is on that one for the 996. If they do it like the .2 where it has like an led outline I would easily pay 600 bucks (quality being good). Also someone needs to make led front fogs!

+1, Yes the need to look 100% as the 997.2 leds and its important that they look OEM.

Also from the picture I have seen of leds for 996, they don't look as bright as they should do either.

I think these are to clear for me, to much aftermarket.

I like the OEM design better. If you can get these design into the 997.1, you got your first customer.....

I have been bugging him for a couple of weeks, no final photos yet.

He is also designing some replacement front indicators/side light units (LED) similar to the Gen2 units.

I will send him another email about it and see if there is an update.
