If you like the way it looks and there are no rubbing issues then try not to worry to much about what others think. Plenty of people don't like my car (the color that is) but I don't care, I like it.

Great advice here and a smart move.

They are 19x11J 51mm offset. I've seen several members who put on 15mm spacers on the rears for their nb cars and at least from the pictures, their rears don't seem to stick out as much as mine does. Why is that? If you put 15mm on nb, it makes 52mm, which is close enough to my rears, 51mm. I don't get it why my rears look like buggy.....

Those rears are 305 right now on the car.
$2500...yikes...these same wheels are for sale brand new on rennlist for asking price of $1300.

Lower the car and add around 1.8 negitive camber and they might tuck under the fender....be carful though. Sorry this has happened to you. Best of luck with this.

Were the other members running 11's like you or the stock 10.5's with spacers? That would explain the difference.

I got them for 2500 with tires. Isn't that a good deal?

I believe if you go with a 295 tire, it'll be just right. Your 51mm offset is not far from my once 52mm offset with 15mm spacers on 19 x 11 Carrera Classics. I had 295 and it was just right.

Actually, with that, you can run the 305's if you lower it. With about -2.0 camber in the rear it'll work. I ran the same exact setup with no rubbing issues.

I don't know enough about wheel tire size to make recommendations but this does not look right . I also don't like the idea of 15mm spacers . I prefer sticking to OEM spec .

Wheels are a very imporant aspect of the car and I feel its time that the safety issue be addressed over the cosmetics . What looks cool might not be what is right for the car .

safety issues meaning, it will mess up my alignment over times? Or will my rear wheels fall off while i'm driving?

One of the wheel/safety issues discussed on the 997tt forum was about wheels themselves --meaning will a wheel center be strong enough to withstand hard driving . It was discussed in detail .

In your case an OEM wheel is a decent wheel --it's not a competition forged wheel or an ultra light fine quality aftermarket --but it's good enough . What you have done though with spacers and tires and a wheel made for a different car is alter the driving dynamics . In what capacity it will effect safety I don't know but I do think it looks wrong for that car .

Every day you climb in that seat you place yoir life in that car . It's best to be certain that its safe to drive .

I think those wheels would look nicer if you did them in some type of Black finish...they look good in silver too
