Recommendations for muffler install in San Jose

I bought a set of 997S mufflers from a member here on 6Speed with the Gundo hack already done and I'm looking for recommendations for an installer here in San Jose who could fit them for me. Anyone got any suggestions?
thanks guys

Give Alex at Sharkwerks a call at (510) 651-0300, they're in Fremont. I know it's a bit of a trek from San Jose, but they do excellent work, and it'll be worth the trip!

Thanks guys - I did think about Sharkwerks, but I'd feel like a bit of a fraud going to somewhere like that for something as basic as a Gundo muffler swap

Then again, I was thinking about getting the alignment done...

Any more suggestions guys?

Man you can install them yourself in about an hour. A muffler swap in a 996/997 is a joke. I did the whole exhaust system (headers, cats, mufflers) in 3.5 hrs.

That's absolutely true... It's pretty simple indeed! The muffler only takes about an hour and half to do.

Sorry Alex, don't mean to take work away from you...but its such an easy job and you can't get a better way to know your Porsche unless you are wrenching on her yourself.

Not at all Dave I totally support/help people doing DIYs. I agree on easier stuff like this it's not only rewarding but you get to know your car some...

Hey Alex, you can always do the work for him and maybe "accidentally" install your bypass muffler.

Agree to attempt a DIY if you have access to a jack and stands. A few bolts (although sometimes rusted) and a little patience, and you will have your new install.

ROFL too funny! Well it's a Mk1 so there's no danger of that!
