Welcome to the 6! Very nice 997. In terms of wheels my vote would be for the HRE P40 in textured matte black. Be sure to post pics when you pick up a new set.

Welcome fellow pcar girlie! Nice to have some more lady enthusiasts! I drive a Boxster and my hubby has a black 996.

You'd enjoy meeting GretaPass. She has a beautiful white 997 TT and she can drive it like there's no tomorrow!

Welcome again!

It's nice that both you and your brother have taken the time to make a unique and special car . One of the fun aspects of customizing these cars is time and care which goes into each revision .

Wheels are a very personal decision . The Techarts do have a traditional styling . The Hre have a textured finish that has this hand made look . They are strong and light weight adding great performance . There's also a the Champion Rs171 which has a convex center , light weight and also designed for an enthusiast driver .
If price is no object there's the cabon fiber magnesium Dymag wheels which are gorgeous , extremely light but if damaged can get expensive .

As a guy I never place this much thought into the shoes I wear but with my car I do.

As you get ideas and think the details through you will end up selecting the wheels which make you happiest .

Good luck . Welcome to 6speed.

Welcome.

That's a hot car.

Per se of the forum guidelines... all newbies must also post photos of themselves

Hi and welcome to the forum - love the car. Red really suits 911s for sure.

As for wheels, I had my standard 'lobster forks' (same wheel as yours - many people think the shape of the spokes is reminiscent of a lobster fork) finished in smoked chrome a few weeks ago - it would look AMAZING against a red car and save you the cost of new wheels. Another poster also had his done black and again they look really good. Seems colours other than silver really suit this wheel.
