Never thought I'd like the PRG color but when I saw the car in person, I loved it. Couldn't find another person in the whole dealership that also liked it. Your thought? Love it, hate it or indifferent about it?

 

It's a lot, lot nicer in person and most people like it. It's really grown on me and here's ours:

 

just saw one today while out shopping with the kids. kind of understated, if you are looking to turn heads probably not the color for you

 

Its classy not flashy....This color is growing on me..

 

That's what I love about it.

 

To be honest, I bought it because I could save some money on it. There were several out there and they weren't selling so the dealers were willing to deal a couple months ago. Now I actually like it. It is easy to maintain understated and you don't see many on the road.

A friend in Indy bought a PRG launch car last Summer. It looked like crap on the dealer's lot (they washed them once a week), looked reasonably good when he got it cleaned up, looked almost "chalky" after sitting in the Porsche Corral for two days at Mid-Ohio in August. So......better treat it like a black car if you get it.

I like it. Having said that, I have bought green vehicles in the past and always regretted it later. I'm not sure why, but I got tired of the color quickly.

 

I think it is a nice color, but I am sure like many Forum members, it would not be one of my top 5 color choices for a 911.

 

it is kind of a 'pine' green. didn't really get it when they launched the 997.2s in that color. pretty sure anyone who has it got it because they needed a launch car (or a good deal?), not because they loved (or even strongly liked) the color. sorry, i know its all subjective but when i saw it in person it was very much a 'meh' moment...

 

love the green! very nice.

 

they made a deeper blue green back in the 964 era that looked pretty good imo. i remember looking at a 928 in the colour as well.
