My first Porsche
Hello all,

I've been lurking on this forum for a few months, I just picked up an 09 C4S a few days ago and I love it... Sorry for the crappy iPhone pictures.

Cant wait to mod her up.

Beautiful. I waffled back and forth on my C4S order between Arctic Silver and Meteor Grey. I ended up choosing Meteor mainly because I'm lazy about keeping cars clean. That silver does really shine in the sun. Mine is my first as well. Congrats!!

I know what you mean, I keep looking at the picture in your avatar and not looking at what you are writing!

In any case, those photos look like a 50mm equivalent. They are def not wide angle. Wide angle shots of cars can really exaggerate the lines in interesting artistic ways that don't really show the car as it is. That P-car looks just like a P-car.

I shoot with a Canon 5DmkII and 16-35, 24-70, 24-105, 70-200, 35, 85, 180, and 200. I still don't have a decent photo of my own car and I'm trying to juggle having the car clean with having the time. Car photography is tricky.

Check out this SoCal car photographer: http://www.scottchu.com/ His work is really incredible. Sometimes, he gets the camera real close with a WA lens and you get some really almost cartoonish dimensions to the car.
