I think the two are worlds apart. One is a fast, heavy, four seater with decent handling and the other is a fast, nimble sports sports car with world class handling. Depends what you are looking for.

I have a buddy who accidently crashed his 997S2 head on into an an m92M3 at 90 mph while trying to avoid a Prius. Amazingly there were no injuries and neither car was damaged. Based on that I would say both are truly fine vehicles.

Moral of the story: Neither car gives you the satisfaction of a Prius (while looking in the rearview at the mess you caused)
