OK...I get it....
I have been an M3 fan for years (300GT VR4 before that) and it was getting time to look for the next car. Got a SMOKIN' deal from Earth Motorcars here is Dallas for a 2007 E63 AMG with only 20.8k miles in PERFECT condition. So, I am letting the guy know that I plan to swap next year and have it narrowed to either an M3 or a 997 C2S. Without missing a beat, he goes "PORSCHE!....and I have your car coming in next week."

Well, he got it in on Friday and I went to drive it and he ended up letting me take it home for the weekend. Needless to say, I now own a 2007 C2S with only 21k miles on it!

I get it now.

Congrats!! I also went the BMW and 3000GT route in the past and they are so far out of the league of Porsche. Welcome to the club and the addiction.

Good thing you didn't listen to CURI0...he might have convinced to you go the wrong path and tell you that the E92 M3 is waaaaaay better than any 997
