mass is infamous around these parts
Is there any harm in doing this procedure (disconnecting the battery) every few months just to ensure the ECU is reset and at its optimum level? Seems like this remedy is common for lots of Porsche owners.

No issues with resetting the ECU other than poor fuel economy for a few miles while the ECU learns to adapt to your style of driving, and of course the radio presets will be gone.

For those who'd like to find even better throttle response check out the Sprint Booster.
It's an incredible piece of kit that is easy to install and makes the throttle response a lot quicker and a lot more fun.

Nice to have a clean and cheap solution. Driving it fairly aggressively should keep it doing what you want.

You know, I have noticed this as well. It seems the area between 3K to 5K RPMs in second gear and a portion of 3rd gear flattens.

I'll give the battery trick a try. Thanks!
