'05-'07 C2S 20k miles service?
What is involved in the 20k maintenance interval for a 997 C2S? Any average prices for dealer visits in the Northeast? Is this interval a spark plug change, plus oil and filters?
Thanks.
Thanks.

At 20k i just did an oil service. I service my car in 12k intervals. At 36k I did the spark plugs as a preventive measure, as well as the oil service, in cabin filter, and brake flush. If your car is 2 years old, it will be time for a brake flush, but it is still too early for spark plugs at 20k. Btw, I took my to an Indy shop, board sponsor Stuttgart Performance. I didn't take it to the dealership becaue they charge and arm and leg for all sorts of "inspections".

The 20k service is basically an oil change and general inspection. Depending on where you live, time etc., you may need a cabin filter but that's about it. Personally, I get the oil changed every 10k though the manual recommends 20k. I have had the car for 2 years and 23k miles and my maintenance has totaled about $500 or so (if memory serves) for 2 oil changes and one brake flush (which was not necessary, but I did it as a precaution before a track day). All work was performed by a dealer.

Here is what Porsche did at our 20k service on our 07 997 S
(from an older thread)
Sure. I did a quick search on dealer 20k service rates and found that my total of $765.48 was on par with many others. There were some low ball dealers and some crazy high ones, so at least the only Porsche dealer in Southern Nevada is on par with the median.
As for parts, here is what they did:
Oil - 9 quarts - $77.40
Oil Filter Insert - $29.00
Alum Seal Ring - $1.16
Oil Screw Plug - $8.69
Air Cleaner/Filter - $50.39
Cabin Filter - $106.93
Wiper Blades - $57.29
Remote Battery CR2032 -$9.72
Washer Fluid - $5.95
BG 44K - $28.95
20k Labor = $390.00
At no charge was the 27 point inspection. If someone can tell me what BG 44K is, that would be nice. UPDATE BG44K is injector cleaner. My guess was brake fluid? I wish they included an alignment in the $390 labor, but oh well...
