On the Road Again

I'm about to fly back to London tonight on the red-eye where my 997 C4S has been sitting for a good three months! I have an 800 mile trip ahead of me to the South of France which I plan to break almost midway in Burgundy tomorrow night. I can't begin to explain how unbearable this seperation has been, but that's the nature of my job I'm afraid. All I can tell you is that this forum has been the closest thing to being behind the wheel.

My question is what should I be doing before hitting the road and crossing the channel tomorrow morning given that the car has been sitting for so long. The car is in mint condition, serviced in Feb, and if this makes any difference it's an X51, PCCB, LSD (permanent sport suspension) C4S.

Thanks

What are the implications of fuel seperation here? Is 3 months long enough for this to be a concern?

check the oil, fill it with a full tank of high test fuel and drive like you stole it, have a great time and take many pics, of the car and france. Enjoy your trip!
