Sprt Chrono + and PCM Functions
Sprt Chrono + and PCM Functions
I have Sprt Chrono +, but when I enter the PCM menu almost all of the features aren't there according to what should be per the manual. Does the dealer have to activate something? or is there something I can do. I searched for this topic and it is discussed, but not to degree to find an answer.
Thanks.
Thanks.
I thought that would be the case as well. The Logbook, Individual Mem settings, and all the Sport Display menu items.

Ignition has to be on for Individual Settings (Info/Option).
Sports Display should be there (Trip/Option), Chrono has to be on (lever on steering column) for a lot of that to show up.
Log Book is an additional option (over and above SC) - do you have that?
If all that stuff is not working, sounds like a trip to the shop.

Was on in 1st position, car not running
Tried that per the manual with the chrono reset to zero. No Trip/Option in PCM. Strange. Must be me doing something out of sequence or something
Ah, thought it was part of the chrono + sport display. If not, then I must not have that option. It's not listed as a stand alone option
I will run through it again and if nothing then off to the dealer.
Thanks for the info

To be correct, no it does not. "Ignition On" means just that, the ignition is on.. that is, powered. That does not mean "engine running". If you mean engine running, you should say engine running.
1 - Put the key in
2 - Touch the Screen on that function
3 - "Function not available with ignition off."

It's about what the car means.
But, I'm NASA old school; "...3 2 1 ignition, we have lift-off" - always took it to mean the thing got fired up. Probably has something to do with "ignite" - fire coming out and all...
Great example - totally worth being there for if you ever get a chance: http://www.digido.com/we-have-lift-off.html
Anyway, I took a leap of faith - 3 2 1 ignition - started the engine - problem solved.
