Lightbulb L.E.D TechArt Day-Time Running Lights 1st Gen. 997s - Coming Soon!

Hey folks, I know those of you with the 2005-08 gen 1 997S like the LED day-time running lights that we have on the Gen2 2009 997s well it looks like TechArt will soon have you covered.


Here's a video showing you the TechArt DRL kit on a a 997TT, vs the 2007 997GT3RS (same stock lights as you) and a 09 PDK too as an example:

Very cool, does the kit rewire the DRL's from the headlights to the LED's?

just to clarify... this is not a replacement for the existing light assembly but rather an "add-on" that affixes (somehow?) to the air ducts? (appears to be the case but...)

what happens to the stock light? does it stop working altogether? or is it business as usual for these save for the DRL functionality?

Very cool Alex - any closer pics on how these look on a GT3 front bumper? LEDs seems somewhat hidden on the GT3?

I thought this kit was replacing the Lower Light Component on the bumper... I am dissapointed to be honest, I was expecting better from TechArt.

PS I saw the Speedart's LED lights, it looks kind of weird... It has waaaay too many light bulbs on it.
