Piloti suggestion?
Driving show suggestion?
I'm looking to get a pair of driving shoes for driving in the (obviously manual) 997.
Anyone have any particular suggestions here?
There are so many variations on the shoes, that it's hard to know what to get.
Perhaps there is a kind that is better suited to our cars?
I have the factory pedal layout.
At the moment, I'm leaning toward Pumas over Pilotis as I hear the Pumas have thinner soles with more feedback.
Thanks!

I recently purchased a pair of Piloti shoes from a website, inexpensive ones that are blue with yellow trim. Very comfortable. I expect that more serious track people would prefer shoes with thinner soles for better feel, but these are fine for everything else IMHO.

I bought a pair of Piloti Sebring, which are black with red deviated stiching. It matches my red deviated stitched seats. The owner used to work for Adidas, Reebok and K-Swiss and so the shoes are super comfortable. I also tried on Puma driving shoes and the Porsche Design/Adidas driving shoes and the Pilotis are very superior in fit, comfort and performance.
I have a pair similar to these. They are more like cross trainers then racing shoes, however the smooth soles are what I was looking for.
