Is this the original part that is painted or something else? Mine feels a bit soft for paint.

Yes I did. Found that removing them gave me an extra 2 inches of clearance for the front seat passenger.

Lig --the Techart wheel provides an ideal grip . It was hard to decide on the leather Vs the carbon fiber too. I liked both a lot .

Laker - The midnight looks real nice . Many folks paint the console to the cars exterior color especially if it contrasts the blend of exterior/interior colors. In my case the car is black/black so I felt a black console would be too stark . I also didn't like the carbon console unless the PCM stack was black rather than aluminum. The Leather OEM console is nice but expensive and IMO over priced. I liked the painted the best .

I like the Deviated Seat Belts as well, they add a nice flavor to the interior

Thanks! I would've gone the same route as you with your interior combo. Looks like your seat backs are arctic silver as well, yes? Beautiful!

Love that midnight blue consol, that is really cool. I'd do the arctic silver to match, but too afraid that it would be hard to keep from getting marks.

What kind of marks are you talking about? I have Arctic Silver as well, I have painted my center console to match the exterior.

chut is infamous around these parts
There is also the Porsche OEM Aluminum look center console, which would look good on an Arctic Silver car.

It's alumalook. Same color as the door handle pulls and a few other bits on the interior.

I bet that would cost a pretty P car penny.

Painted mine

Got my console back after being in the paint shop. Also painted the door inserts. It's so shiny it's hard to get the color to look right with the camera.
I asked for extra lacquer in case of accidents.
Only cost me £100 but what a PITA it was to get the cigarette lighters out.

Plus Plug Guy can also replicate that finish, which would cost WAY less than what Porsche asks for.
