9% is good, but I think you could easily get another point or two discount. Just to give you some perspective, I received 15% on my '09 Turbo Cab plus the 1.9% financing.

Get the care you really want. You don't want to drive a car you "kind of wanted", you'll spend more money trying to make it fit your taste. Waiting sucks, but if its the car you want and price is not an issue, then hang in there. If you get the temporary car, sell it to me at a deeply discounted price
