I say buy OEM, I have seen many complain about the third party stuff not fit properly.

Try this one

I can't seem to find an exact conversion to the GT3, except the kermit there are always 'other' versions. And I think the Aerokit isn't as attractive as the GT3 pack, there is something about that Aero wing I don't quite like. Instead of OEM, can these FRP made parts hold the speed above, say 170 mph? I know they are more economical than the rest but qualitywise?

You can get the OEM GT3 bumper from Suncoast; it'll bolt right up to a regular 911.

The Aerokit Wing is exactly the same as the GT3 wing with the exception of a gurney flap across the base, and a pair of ram air scoops on top of the vents. Both pieces can be added to the Aerokit wing to make it identical to a GT3 wing.

I was under the impression that the difference between the GT3 kit and the Aerokit is the vent at the top of the bumper.

Yes, the vent is the only thing distinguishing the aerokit *front* bumper from the GT3.

My post was referring to the rear wing since the OP said he did not like the Aerokit wing versus the GT3 wing...

I didn't realize that the Aerokit had any differences on the wing/deck lid. I think that between the two of us we might be able to figure it out

haha indeed

The differences in the wing are very subtle and like I said consist only of the gurney flap and ram air scoops... you can see if it you look carefully enough at these pics:

WHITE S is infamous around these parts
Ive been looking at this kit for a while as it comes with carbon fiber wing and the rear bumper also for that price...Im just worried about ordering a part from hong kong and then having problems with fitment as i dont know them and dont know what kind of customer service they have...I dont know i think i just might order it just to be the guinea pig.

When I get home tonight, I will post some photos of my old '07 C4S, I do love to go above the limit sometimes

I had to ask because some people might have different experiences with diff. products or co's. I'm not big on modding, but I just love, love the look of GT3 RS. I can even get the whole car repainted and do all the conversions when the time is right. (I meant to ask for GT3RS in my first post, but mind always wander cos its too damn busy )

Even its possible to replicate the body styling of GT3RS, I don't know how to get away with the exhaust system and rear bumper for that matter. Naturally, I don't want it to be too costly, thats the reason I asked about Project Cars.

I'm not in a hurry anyways, but I'm getting there one day at a time, collecting information, asking questions, creating a budget, etc.

Here's my 2 cents

If you want an RS look, it's easy to duplicate with nice quaility products.

Factory GT3 RS Front Bumper Kit:

Vorsteiner VG-T Carbon Wing:

We've installed this wing, and I'm impressed by the quality. And it's an excellent replica of the factory RS wing.
