Nice Larry! Congrats on the White Beauty...

 

Larry - what wing is that on your turbo? To me, it's the most beautiful wing I've seen on a 911 and I'm wondering if they made a non-turbo fitment.

 

Beautiful color combination! A white Porsche is really stunning. Looks like you could not pass up a great deal. The Collection had some amazing deals in the past few months.

 

I found that all three Florida dealerrships were great and each were open to negotiate . June Porsche sales really were dismal and it's not just the Florida dealerships because Jersey 1977 scored a deal in California and another forum member posted in the northeast. I speculate that these sale prices will subside July 31 after the sales data from July close out .

Also those who paid more for a car 6 months ago .. the market was different then. Back then everyone was getting 8 to 10 percent and yanno what resulted ? Nobody bought any new cars .

I have bought cars from all three dealerships but when it came right down to it I have never felt more at home than the way I have ben treated by the folks at The Collection . Over the years in many ways we grew up together . When I was in my 20's and 30's they were young too . We've become like family .

On any given day a deal is a deal and who knows what deal I wold have got on this car last month or if I bought it next month but for what its worth I drove it home .

I am happy as pie.

 

Hey Larry, congrats. It is really nice. I had an Imola interior in my M3 and really liked it. The PDK is cool. I'll be fascinated to see how you like it long term. You can have your own house "drives" now!

 

Will the dealer paint the seat backs? I expect that they will swap out tunnels, but how will you address the seats?

I am ordering my GT3 with painted seat backs and either a leather tunnel w/full leather or painted one. My car will be white too. I would love to see your interior when you complete it.

 

Beautiful car. I had my dealer paint my center console GT Silver and it came out great.

Larry you got 20% off on an 09? WOW! Mark up is only 13%. Why would the collection be willing to lose that much money on an 09? Although I got only 5% off on mine, it did even out for me because I traded in my 07' that had been both crashed and had been left in the rain with no windows by the idiot body shop (Countach, Miami, FL) so the car was a mess but I got 59k for it on a trade since I traded the car in early in 7/08 when I placed my order. Had I kept my 07 even a few months longer I would only have gotten 30's for sure. Either way, 20% off is amazing and I love the white/red. Nicely done

 

They take out the seat , take the backs off , send then to a body shop, have them painted and reinstall them . All I have to do is drop off the car. I had considered it with my Turbo but opted not to do it. With the white car I will.

 

I would be more than happy to show you my receipt .
These were no Porsche incentives when you bought your car and you did get a good price for that time period .

Whatever deal someone gets on one day can always change the next but this is the best time ever to get a new Porsche .
