Your car looks great. Nice wheels and GT3 front bumper looks better without the rear wing. Always been a fan of the GT3 look. Great deal on the bumpers. Someday maybe I can find one like yours in TO. Just wondering if you had any problems with no front license plate in TO?

Thanks, and yes it is compromised but only at very high speeds. The GT3 front are rear are meant to be used in unison as each piece creates the same down force on the front and rear. For now it's my daily driver, if I decide to start tracking the car I may have to make some changes on the ****.

Thanks NorthVan, I just gotta get the damptronics you've got to make her sit right.

Thanks you for the compliments! I had to order a GT3 front plate bracket b/c the Carrera bracket is actually different (just had the bumper put on this past Friday). I would love to not put one but the cops are already staring me down. I might be putting her up for sale soon, I just had a new motor installed by Pffaf Porsche. Made a mistake of driving a 09' S while I was there....... Also, looking for a GT3 997.1

Don't put the license plate bracket on. Just pay the fine!! I had the police stop me 3 times before I found a way to mount it without touching the paint. There is a retractable plate you can buy.

New motor....as in the IMS problem? Was it under warranty? I've heard lots of problems with the 996. Hope it's not the same with the 997. I have the same year as your car. I'm a little worried.
On the flip side, the 997.2S is something else huh? You drove the PDK?

New motor due to human error, as much as I hate to admit it. I mis-shifted after installing my SSK I went from redline in 3 and shifted to 2 by mistake, big mistake as I bent the crank. $18500 later I got a new motor. I drove both the manual and PDK. Loved the PDK but I am old school, I love shifting, (even though it's costs me....).

LOOKS good buddy.

Thanks bro, I'll be in Ashburn late August I'll let you know.

Nice selection! We have been fortunate enough to install the GT3 look on our customer's cars also.

If you have the time check out the Thread

Thank you for addressing my question and being accommodating to a newbie on the board. Much appreciated. I agree with you on being "old school". While PDK is a wonderful technological advancement, it takes away the some of the fun out of driving.

OMG! Kind of interesting point, did you consider making a claim under your comprehensive insurance policy? If you accidently ran your car into a pole, insuance would cover it. I would bet that comprehensive insurance should cover such damage. Just a thought.
