Awesome, can't wait to get mine, love the compliment of the black wheels and black front lip spoiler, exactly the look I'm going after as well.

Thanks Omes, I will always stick with black wheels on this car be it factory stock wheels painted or like the 20'' GFG's I have on it now. I'm having my OEM Turbo wheels powder coated black soon and using them as a winter set.

Really sweet - so give us a little hint of what the bumper, paint and labor ran you. I'm likin' the look of the GT3 front without the rear wing...

Thanks Ryem3, I got the bumper from a fellow 6speeder, DUBB997S for $500 ( a close friend of mine) and a friend painted it for me for only $500. They did a wonderful job at Universal Auto Body in Toronto. The front lower clip cost me $260 and I'm still waiting for the left and right GT3 inner rad vents. All in all I pretty much stole this bumper!

Thanks for the compliments!

Wow, that was a sweet deal. With my front spoiler, I have about the same amount of ground clearance. The GT3 front really looks awesome and the replaceable lips are a big plus.

Yeah it's great knowing the lip is replaceable. I found myself holding my breath everytime I am enter/exiting driveways and speed bumps, I have yet to scrap. I guess it's made to take hits but still I am dreading hearing that first scrapping noise, it's gonna happen sooner or later.

Thanks JoeShark, I want the grills, can you post pics? I haven't seen them inperson. How much are they if you don't mind me asking? BTW, your car looks sick!

AJ,

I got the grills from Mike over at RSS. Not sure if I'm supposed to post pricing on the open forum so I'll send you a PM. You do have to pull your front bumper off to install them so you'll need to factor in some labor as well. I'll try to post up some pic's in a bit.

Don't worry about the scraping. It's going to happen sooner or later and like you said, yeah, I think it's the nicest thing Porsche has done from a "saving the consumer some money" by making that lip cheap and easy to take off and put on a new one. I almost consider my lip as disposable.

Great looking car; I always felt the 997 neded more muscle at the front.

Question: Is the car's stability compromised in any way by adding the GT3 front bumper without the wing in in the back?
