Very Unusual "Problem"

Well I bought my 09 C2S about 3 months ago and have about 1000 miles on the car....I am experiencing a very unusual problem now and can't figure out what to do

I find myself looking for errands to do that require my driving the car...I look for any excuse to get out and spend more time behind the wheel because it seems like I can't get enough of it. My wife cant believe how "helpful" I am all of sudden. Is there a cure for this ??

1000 miles in 3 months! You certainly need to run more errands or possibly get lost on one of your errand runs and take a decent ride.

I put 600 miles on mine the 1st week! The manual suggests longer drives for break-in and I gladly obliged.

Make the errands longer. You should not drive short stints - these engines like proper temp cycles.

How about making your car a Daily Drive? That's what I do...

This has been well documented . In fact you may behin with running errands but once you figure it out you may find that the errands get in the way of what you really wanted to do . To simply drive nowhere.. https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...e-nowhere.html

1000 miles in the FIRST month...
If I can't think of anything to get, I take people out for rides. My favorite is women that scream as I nail the gas as they get their first ride in a p car.

I wonder if anyone here is organizing rides like they there are in OC... that was quite a collection of p cars.

Most of us have the same problem as you, yours doesn't seem to be effecting you as bad as some of the others here. BTW I have done more milage on the track in the last 3 months, and you have on the road.

the most important thing you can do for break in is to break in the NAV system.

1. set the "home" location
2. run an errand in a neighboring state, not using nav
3. take a different way home
4. as darkness hits, use the nav system to get you back
5. on a clear road, try to outpace the satellite system with speed

this will accomplish many of your break in requirements
