997S wins CAr magazines PCOTY
performance car of the year.Quite impressive,up against the GAllardo,AMDB9,and about 10 others.Porsche won as it was best all round,best engine,most useable vehicle,best built.
It ran just 1.5 seconds behind a GTRS3 on a tight circuit (though it lagged nealry 4 seconds behind the noble.on the circuit and the lotus elise,noble and Ford Gt40 (??) were rated as better handlers,but an impressive award to win for the 997s.
