Question cross drilled vs. slotted

looking for opinions on crossed drilled vs. slotted , I've heard cross drilled tend to crack quicker than slotted , My fronts on 06 997S have small cracks and I did several DE's ,I understand this can happen but am looking for which option will provide the best wear for the buck . alos any know suppliers of 997s slotted rotors .

Cross drilled definitely crack around the holes during track runs. The general consensus is to run slotted if you track the car and cross drilled if you don't.
Either that or run cross drilled on the street and track and just change them more often than normal.

I was checking out the rotors of a GT3 at the Nurburgring last weekend and they were massively cracking. So much so that I would be afraid to drive it if it was my car.

check out rennstore.com They have the Giro Disc slotted...best deal on slotted I have found.

If you track your car and can afford it this is the best way to go. For street use just stick with the stock rotors.
