I liked the M5 but didn't "love" it. The SMG tranny is good at higher speeds but was too jerky around town. I was averaging 12mpg which, needless to say, was not good. Mine was fully loaded and I love all its features, but in the end, I really missed having a Carrera. The Carrera is just more fun to drive and also to look at
