I'm in BIG trouble now !!!
I have a new 2009 C2S with PDK and Full Tubi Exhaust.....I have been having a blast with the car and love driving it and listening to the exhaust note.
Why am I in BIG trouble you ask ?? Well yesterday I had the chance to drive a Yellow Gallardo Spyder for the entire day. HOLY SH#T !!! Driving this car was unbelievable...I thought my Tubi had an aggressive sound....Well the exhaust in this thing was mind boggling...you could hear me coming from 1/4 mile away...the unbridaled power was amazing and the WOW factor is off the charts...I got no less than 50 thumbs up and 25 people asking if they could take a picture of "my car".
The only thing I did not like was the way the e-gear works..it can be jerky at times with lag time and the downshifting is very pronounced. The PDK is far superior to this. If this car ever gets a PDK-like system it would be indescribable.
On all other counts though this car is a winner and I can now understand why someone would spend that sort of money on a car.

I can understand you very well. I also have 997.2 Cab PDK and a friend of mine has a Gallardo. Looks, driving position, engine sound and stance are in another league on the Gallardo. It´s the pure exoctic the 997.2 will never be.
I could have bought a used Gallardo coupe instead of a brand new 997.2 Cab. Ended up with the 997.2 because it´s a brand new product made to my own specifications, reliability issues (Gallardo is on his second clucth) everyday driving hability (much better on the 997) and it´s a cab (like having three cars in one)
The Gallardo is one of the best engine sound out there, ir sounds better than F430 an 599 from self experience.

+1. My wife bought me one of those World Class Auto supercar samplers (in LV, US and I would highly recommend it btw). Had a Ford GT, F430 Spyder, Gallardo, Z06, Bentley Turbo (the world's fastest Buick) and an AM with an auto.
The 430 was the overall best car of the lot. But the Gallardo had the best engine sound. A cross between a high-revving Ferrari and a classic american V8. Sounded like the devil himself was behind my right ear. Simply incredible.
But I bought the Ford GT. It's a love thing...

Car guys like all cars (or most cars), but if one is a 911 fan... there's nothing like a flat 6 hanging from the back. Its propulsion thrust and handling are unique - simply there's no substitute.
P.S. - for me the theatrics of the Italians are just that, theatris, and they wear out fast.

Bosco - The Lamborgini Gallardo E gear is a beautiful looking car with a fantastic exhaust sound but that's about as far as it goes . The earlier models has some reliability issues , the later ones improved , but the best of all os the lastest model Lp-560 which is a fantastic car . This car screams "look at me" attention and that's not always a good thing plus with miles the car plummets in depreciation and the cost to maintain is not cheap nor is fixing the car as organized as it is with Porsche .
In short .. many Porsche owners end up back in Porsche after a Lambo or Ferrari fling . The ride, the ease of service. the cost .. all point to Porsche .
Here's two videos .

You may amuse yourself with the LP560 -This would be the one to get

Lambo's are very sweet machines, they are more of a daily driver then most expect. The shop that works on my car, is also the local Lambo dealer. They are more expensive to maintain, but can take the effects of being a DD, they are after all owned by VW.

I am too lazy to search for an answer - that buffone burned down GT2 track time - what was it compared to Gallardo?
