[QUOTEThe standard TT is AWD but the king of the Turbo's is RWD.][/QUOTE]

The photos are no longer on this thread but post number 50 discusses how a Gt2 in the rain on a city street might not be the best choice.

It's one thing to take a Gt2 onto a track with driver skill and another to place on on the interstate highway in a rainstorm with SUV's and trucks commuting in rush hour.

Cayman S 2009 is infamous around these parts
For the slower and heavier comment on C4 to C2. There is a lot of sport cars are faster and lighter, also a lot cheaper. I saw a mod Civic beat the Porsche.
People like Porsche not only because of the speed, a lot of people like how pretty it is and the handling, most of us even like wash the car ourself. NOT ONLY SPEED.
For the little bit higher price than the C2, I don't think it is a problem to most of us.
If you like the C4, go for it. Get the best deal you can find, forget about the TT and the C2.

Dr. Freud would have a field day with these posts, some real ***** size issues here!

I don't care which 911 you choose NO ONE here will come close to exploiting their full potential on public roads!

If you must buy the biggest or the fastest to satisfy your inadequacies fine, but their specs will make very little difference in the real world! If you're not going to track it I would buy the C4. Don't buy the argument about it will lose value, NONE OF THESE CARS ARE AN INVESTMENT! They are all money pits!

I'd almost forgotten about my own thread.

I bought the new C4. I love driving it. It had a great set of options (sport, bose, heated/ventilated, nav/bluetooth, power seats etc) and was a color I like (atlas). It came down to the C4 or a C2S with PDK for similar money, and surprisingly enough I enjoyed driving the C4 more because it was a 6 speed. I just love manual transmissions and Porsche makes a nice one. In fact, the one thing I didn't like about the 335i was the slushbox, which is easily the nicest torque converter I've been in. Of course, the PDK isn't a slushbox, but I think I missed shifting a little after driving manual cars since I turned 16. The all wheel drive has already been nice to have as it has done nothing but pour since I bought the car. I got it for 21K off sticker and they paid off the bmw, so I didn't lose too much cash there. Love driving it and find excuses to do so.

Gotta love a story with a happy ending. Atlas Gray - beautiful. Congrats.

Oh, and post some pics - don't hoard it!
