Hey John, will get back to you on that. Was impressed with the car but there is just so much 'spirited' driving you can do with a salesman sitting next to you. Will find out more on Monday.

TROLL as a verb not a noun, trolling maybe have been better written, just meant trolling/surfing forums other then the one you may own the car from. I troll frequently myself.

I'm never offended. Welcome to the 911 family. I hope you'll enjoy the car for what it is, as it is not a quarter-miler, your upfront stated interest. I suggest you find some nice twisty mountain roads and appreciate the dynamics of this unique all-in-the-rear design.

All these forums offer potential buyers (and car enthusiasts)an enormous amount of info on these vehicles. The forums are invaluable.

Abso-friggin- lutely!! Most likely the exhaust and intake. These two areas are usually restrictive to begin with (federal gov't regulations and emissions) but newer cars are improving in this area. Don't know how much of a gain though on a 911. Any current owners can chime in and give me an estimate.

You're a good sport 07speed. There were some remarks that were a little harsh and you took them in stride. While I love the Porsches I own (and have owned), I realize there are other very nice cars out there that do not have the Porsche crest on the hood.....some people unfortunately do not.

Anyway, congrats for not being combative and even more congrats on the new Porsche. Like others have said, get it and go carve up some twisties. These cars handle like no other.

This is why ive been limiting my time on the forums lately,,, Cant stand most of these people bashing on members who say anything but "porsche is God" "porsche in not a drag car" ... First of all, porsche, even though not "made for it" is probably a better dragster then most american cars. Ive owned a Mustang, Z06, DB9, and 355 and 997S which I still own, and the porsche seems to feel the best at the dragstrip, atleast you can get some traction out of it.,, Ive even taken them all to the road course and the 355 and the Z06 felt the best!... I think the real Trolls are the ones who are narrow minded and cant see beyond Porsche and beyond its greatness on just road course... peace

+1. There's a sudden and recent PC streak that has hit the forum. Or so it seems to me. Positive comments are welcomed. Seemingly lots of exposed nerves with a number of things negative or controversial. I've been hesitant to engage lately.
And I have mentioned my Ford GT (and Prius) in the past. Shame on me. No more.

So.. Welcome to the club. Any pics or is that in a separate thread? I think some comments were a little harsh personally. You took them well
