If you look at the back wall in that M3 shot, see the size of those "blocks" that make up the wall like a collage? I think it is just extreme JPEG compression in the camera - look at the settings and find out how to set the JPEG to "High"..

I did try one last time at 7AM to get a picture of the BMW . It was outside last night but remained 95 percent clean . The car is 1.5 years old , has 20K miles on it , and even though my pictures are not great .. the cars look better now than when they were new.

did you tweak the camera? the detail in the trees and grass is all but lost - that's where it is easy to see the problems, but the car suffers as well. good looking M3 though.
