I recently received a Supercharged 2005 997 C2 S for my birthday and I am having a little trouble tracking the history of the car. I purchased it from the 2nd owner without paperwork. He claimed a doctor owned the car and had tuned exhaust and the VF supercharger installed. I found a Sharksworks card in the visor and called them to find out the car had not been worked on there and from memory they recalled the car may have been worked on at Evo in Arizona. I called Evo and they don't keep records by Vin# only last name, and I don't have it. the vin# is WPOAB29945S741050, It's a black Coupe with PASM, Sports Chrono.
Any Help as to how to track it or knowledge of it would make it a much better present.

Carfax , for $20-$30, will answer a lot of this. If you have a friendly dealer he can get some good stuff from Porsche NA.

 

Carfax won't have owners last names.


I would bring it to a porsche indy performance shop and ask them to do an inspection which lists mods.

Contact VF or EVOMS, they will probably be able to forward your info to the old owner and they could get in touch with you if they wanted.
