997.1 C2S with OEM TT offset wheels

Hi all, newbie here and posting the first time on 6speed.

I have a 2005 C2S and recently upgraded to a set of OEM TT wheels from lobsters, with 235/35/19 front and 295/30/19 rear. Let me tell you, the wheels are hella flush and they really bring my car alive. TT offset still fits C2S pretty well, no problem at all.

Yea, 8.5x19 front, 11x19 rear. The color of the rim matches Atlas Grey really well, I am so glad I got this set over the Forgestar F14

The rears look like they stick out past the fender.

The wheel doesn't but the tire does a little. I have C4/TT offset wheels for the track and they are fine. No rub even when lowered and worked hard on the track.

Still it is wrong offset for narrow body car. OZs I got are 11.5" in rear and they do not protrude out of fenders edge at all.

Adding spacers is also the produces the "wrong" offset and I run them with my OEM street wheels. The set up works either way, so it isn't a big deal.

The GT3 uses a 5mm spacer on the rear which gives you a net offset of 62mm. An 11x19 wheel with the same outside spacing has a 49.3mm offset.
I have offset 65mm and it fits perfectly without spacers. I looked at some other options including stock turbo wheels prior to getting those OZs and frankly did not like any other combinations - I think it does not look good at all when tire protrudes out (not to mention all the dirt you get on your fenders in bad weather) nor when it`s too deep inside. It just feels right when rim and car edge make one straight line without anything sticking out. With thousands of options on the market it is not such big deal to find setup that fits properly anyway.

The fit is fine. I have Carrera S IIs in 4s offset (rears same as the Turbos in this thread) and the car looks perfect.

The wheels DO NOT stick out past the fenders. It just looks that way depending on the angle. No issues with rubbing, etc.

BTW, your car looks HOT
