If you have sport mode, we can turn it on all the time or leave it as normal. If you do not have sport mode, we can activate it. This has nothing to do with the suspension, only the electronic throttle that the Sport Mode relates to.
Thanks for the info Vivid. Im actually looking into a ECU Flash for the future as a Winter Mod I have a 997.1 C2S. Looking at those numbers it looks like the cars gain 15hp and 10 so Trq. Compared to a 997.1 when it was saying 389Hp and 322 Trq from 355/295 stock if I remember right. Is the DFI just not as tunable as the the 997.1??? Just wondering thsnks man.
So to confirm, currently when existing sport is pressed suspension also comes on (firmer) but with your flash sport will come up on start and (a) suspension is unchanged, (b) suspension changes to firm, or (c) my choice based on what I tell you I want the flash to do?
Separately, I realize I can always flashback but since I am under warranty if all I want on start is sport mode on and no suspension change to firm, can you do that and what would the charge be? thanx.

Can Softronic chnge the PSM parameters so that PSM Failure does not come on at a certain speed on the 31 degree banked NASCAR turns at Daytona?
I had PSM Failure at Daytona last weekend when I got over 130mph on the banked NASCAR turns. Other 997.2S cars had the same issues. This PSM Failure turned off the sport chrono setting for the throttle and the shocks. I do not care so much about the throttle setting in Sport Chrono Plus but I do need the stiff shocks settings and the faster PDK shifting settings. Only to get these settings back on was to turn the car off and restart it...but back up on the banked turns PSM went into failure mode again.

The ECU flash will not affect the suspension be turned on soft or stiff. The Sport Mode function related to the ECU Flash controls the electronic throttle. Without sport mode you only get about 80% of the throttle opening compared to 100%. So if you have us turn sport mode on ALL THE TIME, it will not affect your suspension. Because you get your ORIGINAL and tuned file, you can flash back to stock at anytime.
We do not offer just turning the Sport Mode on, the flash is a whole package.

This is how I want my car to be set up almost every time, so may be worth the cost, just to get this! So what is the cost?

That would be awesome...so far no one knows anything. my car is going to the dealer so they can run the faults...but...at the track I removed faults with Durametric just so see.
Does the software adjust the fuel/air maps to a perfect mixture?
I think 997.2 owners would really appreciate it if they could get rid of the rich mixture that seems to be the cause of the filthy sooty black tips on these cars.
Also, is the software tunable for 98 Octane ?
thanks in advance.
