Thoughts on 2010 C4S vs Turbo
Thoughts on 2010 C4S vs Turbo
Well just felt like venting out and wanted to know if any other persons living in Canada are experiencing the same pain!
Well my heart is still set on a '10 C4S Cab, simply because the '10 Turbo is just way too expensive in terms of Canadian $$. Oddly enough the base price in Canada for the Turbo is $165,000 yet in the US it is approx. $130,000. Still my C4S optioned out works out to almost 165,000 Canadian!
The problem is the US and Canadian Dollars are at parity!!! DAMM!! If I buy a US car and drive up to Canada, warranty is void and well.....UUUUHHH!!
To be honest with you, even if I had the cash, I think I would be scared driving the Turbo!
Later xP

i would buy local. The turbo is a great car no need to be scared of it. I dont understand why your warranty would be void if i drive to Cananda and encounter a problem would service be denied to my car?
vman has a good point, buy in states and drive up.. if you have a problem drive back across.lol. they've never asked for my registration and license when i drop a car off for warranty.
There's nothing worse than spending a lot of money to buy a car but really wanting another . I would even say don't buy either until you can get the car you really want.
warranty is provided by PCNA, so any US cars coming into Canada will continue to have valid warranty.
I don't think there will be any US dealers that will sell a new car to Canadian though, you will need to buy a pre-owned and ship or drive it up.
Expect to pay an extra 6% import tax on top of the usual PST and GST.
