maybe because of the exclusivity of the car only 50 made..... and it represent 50 years since the P.C.A started..... honestly i wouldn't pay that, but i could see maybe 80,000. It's going to be a classic years from now....

I have seen Tim's car, it has a badge that says 13 of 50. The 50 cars are symbolic of the 50th anniversary, perhaps the 250 is of a different special edition.

 

still no what 165K though. mk1 Rs much better value now. with change - i bought a 964 US Cup car of which 45 were only made for significantly less ie less than 100K

 

I hope you don't think I am serious. The club coupe is nice, but $165, not a chance, not even new.

 

So what is the going price for these 997 Club Coupes??

There was one recently on eBay which got bid up to $50k, but it didn't hit the reserve price. From the description, I got the feeling the seller was looking to get >$80k-ish.

 

I would imagine that a 10% premium over the normal going rate of a 2006 997C2S would be the high side of it's value.

 

Listing the mileage in the ad as "low" is only slightly annoying, yet not surprising from this seller given the insane asking price.
