Would really like to hear your dyno results for HP and torque gains as I am also considering flashing my ecu with softronic's program.

 

90% of 997 owners achieve an OVERALL driving improvement with better throttle response, mid range, and pull to the 500rpm increase over redline. If you are looking at just numbers, probably not the best gauge of how the Softronic tune will help your car.

Day one was a blast, but I didnt get to drive for very long at all...

The tune went in no problem. I will drive it a few days before I write any type of review...But I can say now that the cats, headers and tune have transformed the car. Its completely different now in a very good way. Unfortunately my green filter is on back order everywhere so they refunded me my money. I guess I will drop in a BMC.

I believe his cable was not activated until after he contacted Softronic. Thereafter, it was no issue with uploading the file.

 

And I guess youre one of those internet posters that doesnt read the whole thread?

No, I did read the whole thread, including a bunch of tips, and a later post by the OP that just said "problem solved" but not which of the various suggestions was the key solution.

Good to know the cable's hardware is keyed to a vehicle...
