Congrats! Are you in Dallas by chance? If so, Autoscope will hardwire a Valentine One radar (the only one I'd even consider) up next to the rear-view mirror for about $100. It's well worth it.

You bet --- Autoscope has a few locations depending on where you are. I go to the really nice new facility near Love Field at 6134 Denton Drive. Check out www.autoscope.net. Although I haven't been, there have been a lot of really positive comments on the board from D/FW members about the Ruf Auto Centre --- www.rufautocentre.com.

Unfortunately I'm not aware of Valentine One ever having sales, but at the full price it's a great investment that will pay for itself the first or second time it saves you!

 

If it's an '06 it's a 997.1 as '09 was the first MY for the 997.2.

 

I've had a Valentine for over 10 years. I've never seen them run a sale. The unit is worth every penny they ask for it.
