93 octane Washington DC area?
hi guys, wondering if 93 is the norm in washington dc--arlington va area? My car had a giac flash done there before i bought it and trying to determine if it is 93 or 91 tuned...

93 Octane is readily available in DC, MD and Virginia. Every station carries 93....Exxon, Shell, Sunoco, Chevron

You'll also find some Sunocos carry 100 octane but you have to bring a gas container. They wont let you pump it directly into your car.

91 octane is only an abomination on the West Coast.

You can pump 100 octane directly into your car at the Summit Point track.
It is pricey tho.

At racetracks, generally speaking, the highest octane you can get in unleaded is 100.

In the DC/MD?VA area get BP 93 octane. Contains no Ethanol, good stuff.
