AJ997S is infamous around these parts
Hey guys, this happens when you park using the hand brake. If it rains or you've just washed the car and have left it over night with the hand brake engaged the brakes will lock from the slight rust build up. It's common amoung all 997s especially ones with the Big Red brakes. Try parking without using the hand brake over the next few days if there's rain or you've just wahed the car and let us know if it 'sticks' again. I have to admit when I first started parking without engaging the hand brake it felt very 'unsafe' and odd however it beats having to listen to the 'bang' noise in the morning. Hope this helps.

alright..Thanks for all those who helped so far.
i think ive figured it out.

The car makes the noise + difficult to move the car on starting in both parking stalls i have and only when it rains.
it stopped raining this week after a month of rain...so far no problem starting the car.
Using or not using the handbrake did not seem to make a difference.

so it does seem like it is the Brake or Brake pads rusting a bit causing some sticking. Just surprised that this happens and how much resistance/noise it cases on starting the car.

Thanks again for those who thought of it already.
