I was a bit late to the party having missed the awards and food but had enough time to see a few familiar faces and took a few car photos with forum member Sin911 down by the water. There were a lot of great cars and I am so glad I stopped in to see it . It was a great day !!!!

Thanks Joe. I am kind of sick of the weather here actually, it's too hot and humid...

 

It's been quite warm lately and today had enough cloud coverage so that the sun peeked out but didn't toast us . Bickell Key was a great spot for this event too. If you aren't familiar .. it's a small island right off Miami's business district mostly comprised of luxury condo's and small business . There's also this hotel which overlooks the water . After the event I walked by the pool area and they had a small restuarant overlooking the water . It was real nice . I had never been there before .

 

I found out about it yesterday . I also heard that they have one each year . Some of the guys there talked about the one mile run track events which were held recently . I haven't been to too many social gatherings and I am really glad that i made it to this one . As I was leaving other Porsche owners who were total strangers waved from there cars sharing this bond without words about this common interst in these cars . Next event I will make sure to PM you .
