Garage Door Openers Not working
Garage Door Openers Not working
My battery went dead after not driving the car for a few weaks.
I opened the hood using a 1 amp battery charger and used the same to charge the battery.
Every thing but the garage door opener seems to work fine.
Anybody have a similar problem?

Yes. it is not lighting up. None of them are. I checked all the 7.5 and 10 amp fusess in the fuse box.
I tried re-programming no lights. So it isn't getting power now for some reason. Better check the bigger fuses too I guess.

my one has never worked. I have done the re-programming, get the flashing light on the button, then stood in vain for hours pressing my remotes desperately. The fog lights never responded. I tried several remotes, several gates. No chance.
This has happened to me twice, once last year and once last week. If my battery dies my homelink (garage door opener) and my seat heaters no longer function. The 1st time I had to take the car to the dealer and they need to rest "something" on the PWIS tester. I have not taken the car in yet for the 2nd occurance. I also contacted durametric to see if their testor can correct this, and they are unaware of which system/computer setting is being reset.

Odd. I have 2 Lift Master garage doors and for whatever reason, only Porsche button 'I' will learn either of those doors. However, buttons II and III on the Porsche will not learn either motor??!!
