Hi 997 friends,
since this forum looks to me as THE most dynamic and interesting 997 forum in the world, I am proud of being able to join this noble community. I bought my first Porsche and - as for many of you - this is the fulfillment of a wish I had since I was a little kid.
I am located in Michigan (Detroit area), but I bought her at Fletcher Jones of Fremont last October. It's a 2007 997/1 S Cab with less than 8000 miles and the following options:

I used 91% Isopropyl alcohol. Remaining adhesive residues I removed with Duck adhesive remover. At the end I polished the visors with some vinyl natural shine protectant.

Thanks guys.
To cover the bumperette holes I bought in German a cover which fits perfectly into the enlarged license plate area. It is attached/pressed to the bumper through the normal license plate holder. Since I let it paint in the same color as my car, it is barely visible that it is an additional part over the bumper.

Thanks. So no real weight saving in the bumperette removal then it would seem. Does look cleaner however.

Where did find the Bumperette cover?
Where can I find it?
I am assuming you bought the cover pre-painted in the factory color?
Thanks.
