I used 91% Isopropyl alcohol. Remaining adhesive residues I removed with Duck adhesive remover. At the end I polished the visors with some vinyl natural shine protectant.

I moistered a paper towel with alcohol and placed it for 15 minutes on the sticker. Then gently pulled the stickers of.
I attached some photos:

I am located in Michigan (Detroit area), but I bought her at Fletcher Jones of Fremont last October. It's a 2007 997/1 S Cab with less than 8000 miles and the following options:
Just curious - what do you have installed in that storage compartment under PCM and air conditioner buttons? I see some sort of a green display there.

Well noticed. I forgot to list that on the option list. It's a Sirius Satellite Radio. My 997 came already with it when I bought her.

Thanks for the instructions and pictures.
I hope my visors come out as clean as yours.

Welcome. You sound like a great new member.

Please tell us more about removing the rear bumperettes and what goes over the holes.

Thanks.

Thanks guys.

To cover the bumperette holes I bought in German a cover which fits perfectly into the enlarged license plate area. It is attached/pressed to the bumper through the normal license plate holder. Since I let it paint in the same color as my car, it is barely visible that it is an additional part over the bumper.

I attached a photo:

I still have the rear bumper removed since I want to install some clear bra on the lower part to protect against stone/sand chipping. I am impressed how much the paint had to suffer already after 8k miles.

Here are some pictures how it looks with the bumperette cover:

Thanks. So no real weight saving in the bumperette removal then it would seem. Does look cleaner however.

Love the look and would like to duplicate.

Where can I find it?

I am assuming you bought the cover pre-painted in the factory color?

Thanks.
