Has anyone seen this ? (Video)
Yep, I watched it before too. The amazing things I thought about it:
Note how much negative camber they use on the front wheels to reduce the understeer and very little noticable rear negative camber.
The driving technique. You don't go hard into the corner. You brake really heavily and enter the corner relatively slowly and then hammer the throttle to get out. If you go in hard, the 911 will just understeer wide. Heavy braking, in tight, then power throttle oversteer out. Really fun to watch.

One of the sponsors posted more pics of the orange GT3 exhaust several weeks ago. It's about 2/3rds down on the first page.

They not only need clear bras but "clear panties" too. Did you see all the debris being thrown up at the rear quarter panels.
When I had my clear bra installed I also had them do the lower door sills, rear buldge in front of the rear wheels (much more coverage than the factory film) and also the area behind each wheel well where splash guards would normally go. Still, all of my extras wouldn't be enough protection if I was doing what those guys in the video were doing.
That said, I really enjoyed watching that and no, I never saw it before. Thanks for posting that.

I love the echo-ey sounds through the forest--listen to the guy laugh at the unseen bark in the woods at the very end.

Corvettes
Why don't the GM guys have events like this to bring the Corvette's image up? This would prove the durability of the corvette if these things were held. Imagine what it's V8 could do on those tracks. They've already done it at the ring and did very well. Awesome!
Wow, is right. Skilled driving, that killer exhaust sound, and the insane spectators so close to the action. Looks like the one fella in the green/white car was having a problem pushing too hard. The orange car sound was awesome.
Thanks for posting....I think? Now, I have the urge to go drive mine that hard.

That looked almost like downhill skiing . I am still amazed at the spectators standing on the banks .
Keep in mind that if the outside sounds like that the cabin will be loud as well which makes it hard to talk with a passenger , listen to the radio , or make a phone call in everyday driving .
The closest thing that one can do is with the Turbo rather than the normally aspirated car. Since the turbo impellar homogenizes the sound placing a race exhaust gives it a full roaring sound at wide open throttle but under low throttle its actually somewhat quiet and peaceful . This offers the best of both worlds .
I have the same exhaust as Sharky placed on this car on my 997tt.
