Carrera S powerkit order option?

If I were to order I would strongly consider the X51. The comfort and convenience of the C2S with X51 far outweighs GT3, and the Turbo costs much more. Also, I haven't checked but I would think insurance costs on the Turbo might be more.
Aftermarket mods automatically void the warranty, and I don't want to own a brand new $125,000 car with no warranty. There is no way I would buy a car with big aftermarket HP mods and a voided warranty! Bad combo.

If you are a diehard C2S buyer the X-51 is worth considering. If not, there are other options (GT3, turbo).
I have it on my current car and it makes it better but the $$$ are not in line with the increased performance. To me it was worth it especially since is covered by warranty and includes PSE. I don't think 10K in rims and aftermarket tires or aerokits are worth the cost but others do. It's nice to have a choice.

I was checking out the 997 Turbo section and several of the owners were agreeing that the handling of the turbo is the sloppiest of the 997s. Another good reason to stick with the more tossable rwd of the C2S.

In terms of cost, I think the x51 retains its value fairly well. While I was looking for a car, all the X51's I came across charged a premium and lasted no longer than a few days on the lot. However, it is an expensive option and might push the price into GT3 territory....Then it's a whole other question.

I wish my local dealer had an X51 2010 in inventory.
I d like to drive a NA 408 HP C2. Bet it is very impressive.
The C2's didnt quite do it for me but that was in 2006 with about 335 HP.
This is probably a screamer.

The X51 is a smart move on the 997.2. Even though I am a manual guy, I would not pay the premium of X51 on a manual car and go straight for a GT3! But if I was looking for an automatic transmission for comfort (PDK in this particular case) a 997.2 C2S w/ X51 power package and PDK would be an amazing machine!
