I'm just wondering if anyone has the new Sport Bucket Seats in their car? Is it a wise option to have? Are they comfortable to seat on, get in and out off? Would the guys on this board have it in their car?

I like them. I'm 6' even, 185 lbs. and have no problems w/fit. Longest drive was NYC to Boston and back, same day. No complaints. Only negative is that the seat back does not adjust. Have to like it "as is". I would not order them as an option w/o trying them in a demo.

 

I have them in my 2010 GT3. Very comfortable....Drove 400 miles to Monterey. You will sit lower in the car. The other plus is that they are seat belt harness ready for track days.

 

I have them in my 2010 C4S coupe.They are fantastic! A must have option. The best Porsche seats ever.

 

It depends on your body build. If you're in Vancouver, there was a 997TT at MCL with Sport Bucket Seats 2 weeks ago. You may go there and try!

 

If you track your car and are thin and under 6' they are the perfect seat. I really wanted this seat but they sit up higher than the stock or Sport manual seat does and my head was hitting into the liner plus they are too narrow for my hips. Keep in mind though I am 6'5" 240lbs...height weight proportioned too.

 

If they fit you, you will absolutley love them. If your hips don't quite fit you will hate them. The seats are perfectly constructed otherwise. If they would be for a dedicated track car it would be a no brainer.

 

I'm 5'11" 170. I sat in them in a 2010 GT3. Just like the sport adaptives, they are really narrow. Way narrower than a Recaro. Back contour is great. I think you just sit in them and you'll know straight away.

 

You are the perfect size for a Porsche...man I hate being so tall!
