How do Iforged prices compare to HRE?? THose look similar to the 847Rs I am longin (yes i know the 840R has hidden hardware)

I would assume 20's on a 997 or even a 996 would rub the fender at this height, right? I have 20's on my Lexus GS4 and needed to do some fender modification to get the car to enter driveways without rubbing the fender well.

20's on a 997 will not rub, the 997 has higher fender arches than the 996. You can't fit 20's on a 996 without fender mods.

 

You better get a few hundred stakes ready then, and a huge fire, it might take you a while.

Actually since the 997 was designed with the suspension geometry for 19's, 20's actually don't impact performance as much as you would think. First the tire sizes are 245/30/20 and 305/25/20, those are the same rolling diameter as 245/35/19 and 295/30/19 that most guys are using for the 19" application. The weight on many aftermarket forged wheels for 20" applications vary from 25-30 lbs, so the weight is not really a factor as well.
