Just put 20" Rims on 997

We just put 20" rims on my buddys 997

iForged Daytona Wheels

20x8.5 2.5" Lip
20x11 4.0" Lip

I think 20's fill up the fender well very nicely.

Great way for him to advertise without paying a sponsorship fee

This a public forum and I am showcasing my buddy's 997 with 20" rims. I am posting as an enthusiast, as I own a Porsche and have been with this community for almost 6 months. I have five dealers who are sponsors of this site as well.

Would you be showcasing your buddy's car if it didn't have iforged rims and you didn't own the company? Perhaps the best way to avoid any sort of criticism is to let your buddy post his own pics instead of the owner of the company posting pics featuring wheels he sells.

I am not debating whether you are an enthusiast and I am glad you own a porsche. Your car is very nice and I have followed the writeups you posted on it. There is a fine line between blatant advertising and posting for the benefit of the community. I love seeing the pics, but perhaps you should let others post pictures of the rims you sell as it is not fair to the people who sponsor the site.

I like the rims though, very nice, are you ever going to answer whether the car is lowered or could you have your friend post?

vince got enough dealers on the board he doesn't need to push the sale himself. it's good to see it on his & his buddies car as long as he doesn't bypass us to sell the wheel. it'd mess up his own market so i don't think he'd do that. i know Vince personally i'd more than happy taking order than any other wheel companies so give him a break please

Exactly Arling I am a manufacture not a sales guy. I have great shops like Lucent who sell my wheels. I am a Porsche nut as well, and I just have not seen 997 on 20's wheels. I was going to post the Techart picture of the 997 when I first saw it with the body kit and the wheels, but someone else beat me to the punch. I post on this board as an enthusiast and a Porsche Fan.

Also yes the car has been lowered on some prototype JIC cross suspension coilovers.

Guys-WHAT'S THE BIG FREAKIN DEAL!!!

Its a beautiful car with great looking wheels!

I really don't care who owns it- KEEP THOSE PICTURES COMMIMG!

Last time I checked this was still the "997" Forum!

I didn't hear any complaints when RWDRIFTC2 posted his step by step 996 widebody project for everybody to enjoy!

RWDRIFTC2- keep up the great work and thanks for your effort, I enjoy your postings!

ZONA-
